Below is the process that you will need to follow in order to adopt your choosen Mastiff through our program. Please read the process carefully, and follow it completely. If you do not follow the process, the processing of your application will be slowed-down considerably. Please note that an adoptive home cannot be considered for adoption until an adoption form is completed and submitted by email to us at: barkbm@yahoo.co.uk for review and consideration.

Please note on the form which dog you are interested in if you already know which dog you are interested in from the listings on our website.

A member of B.A.R.K. will contact you via email or by telephone after review of your application and verify with you any questions you may have and wish to ask pertaining to your application to adopt.
If you do not hear from us within one week after submitting your application, please e-mail us a friendly reminder.
A home visit will be scheduled - After reviewing your Family Profile and agreeing with you that your home is still an adoption candidate. If you are living in an area that we currently have no representation to do a home check, we would require an independant home check organised by yourself and then to be forwarded to us. This will be explained to you once we have your application in.

A home visit is a visit to your home by a representative of our rescue program to see where the dog will live to make sure that a proper loving environment will be provided to our dog-in-need. We will also want to see your interaction with the dog and any other animals in your home that currently live there.
Upon a successful home visit, you will then be eligible to adopt a Mastiff.
